20/05/2019 - DAVID DE POOTER ARTS
A while ago, conceptual artist David De Pooter asked me to collaborate on some projects for his upcoming exhibition 'Nothing Is'. One of the artworks I visualized is a set of postcards of streets with 'strange names' in Brussels, taken out of their contemporary context. Check out these works at the exhibition and visit the artist's website here: daviddepooter.net.

05/01/2019 - COLOURING PROJECT WITH THE LOCAL HISTORY SOCIETY 'DE SEMSE'
As an addition to the previously mentioned colouring project of World War One photographs, I have started a new colouring project in collaboration with the local historical society "De Semse" in Zemst, to colour images from their extensive historical archive and create a journey through Zemst in colour. Here's a sneak preview.
09/11/2018 - WWI BELGIAN COMMEMORATION COLOURING PROJECT
To commemorate the end of the first World War I have started a colourizing project of old photos depicting the Belgian population, civilian and military, during that period. As colourizing is one of my activities, I took this initiative as a free project while reading a lot about the subject. As there are already quite a few colourizing specialists that have worked on photos of the great war, not so many have been done in Belgium (that I am aware of). The photo below depicts a Belgian soldier handling a machine gun in the clashes while retreating after the German invasion of August 1914. If you own the rights or know the proprietor of the rights of the original photo, you can let me know through a message via the contact page.

This walking club who has its name dedicated to 'Duvel' ('Devil') beer, asked me to com up with a touch looking devilish logo. The glass shape is typical for 'Duvel'. The tail stands for a winding trail or path.

28/9/2018 - DUMBO & TIM BURTON
For Globetrade/Beetosee, I am currently working on some inspiring movie projects. The upcoming Disney Live Action movie 'Dumbo' is one of them. Here's the trailer (click on the image).
Did you know that Tim Burton directs this movie? It will be a real treat for the eye again. To discover all about the world of Tim Burton, there is currently an exposition going on at C-Mine in Genk. A visit is planned and more info coming soon, but you can check it out here.
